Personal Statement
Completing my most important seasons, I increased my participation in decathlon events and was encouraged by my results. I kept a competitive edge along the way and this has given me confidence and encouragement for the coming year. I plan to train this summer with a decathlon Olympic qualifier to improve my skills for my senior year track seasons. I hope to attend a college or university that is strong in the sciences and allows me to participate in highly competitive track as well. I attend a nationally ranked IB academy high school where I am constantly striving in a very competitive academic environment to push myself further and harder. I had a successful junior year academically and I understand what it takes to be dedicated to succeeding on and off the track. I believe pushing the limits, both personally and as a team player, can only make me a better student and athlete.
