Personal Statement
I have always enjoyed running ever since I devoted all of my time to the sport last year. I decided to forgo my basketball career and focus strictly on running my freshman year. My favorite memory so far is winning a state championship in cross country this past season. However, after having a tough race at the Meet of Champions my eyes were opened on how much I have to train and grow as a person.
Academics play a major role in how I foresee my college experience. Not only do I want to contribute to the school athletically but also in the classroom. I'm looking for a program that wants me as a part of their plan just as much as I want them.
