Personal Statement
My long term aspiration is to become a Trauma Nurse or Pediatric Nurse.
Running is my passion. I have participated in school sports with running Cross Country, Track and Basketball since Elementary, Junior High and currently in High School. I have desire to help others. I hope to have a stable career in the Medical field after running Track and Cross Country.
I am interested in a College that challenges me mentally and stimulates my interests socially. I have learned Discipline, Loyalty, Perseverance (to face all challenges and be resilient), Dedication and Diligence (to be consistent in what I do). I can strive to go above and beyond what my mind sets. Running is a sport I love to do all my life. My ambition is that one day, I have the opportunity to compete at the College level.
I am a Cross -Country leader, a quick learner, adapt easily to stressful environment, to always go above and beyond, outgoing, compassionate and to help others, very motivated with endurance, to strive and never give up and to do my best in all that I do. My family, coaches, teammates and those around me have taught me to be a positive influence both at home, school and within my community.
I am a team player, contributor and encourager with my team in all aspects of my participation in sports.
As a Student-Athlete there are many goals and achievements that I work hard for like earning all A's with my grades, to maintain perfect attendance, providing student tutoring and goals to graduate with my Associate Degree-CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) during my Senior year. I am currently taking Dual -Credit College classes through San Juan College, along with achieving my High School diploma by taking all honors classes. My goal is to also graduate top 10 with Honors.
I hope to be considered and give an opportunity to compete at the College level.
Sincerely
Josiah Teller
