Personal Statement
My goal is to be a standout athlete that isn’t only known for athletics, but also known for my academic achievement. I want to be great at what I do. I won’t settle for “good”, but rather continuously push the pace. I work under the motto “Train Hard, Win Easy”. I believe nothing comes without hard work and I’m willing to be that person to push my teammates and make my teammates better. I personally like to win, and would never point fingers in defeat. I wanna make a difference to a team and strive to be better than what we already are. Outside of sports I wanna be able to succeed. I go above and beyond when it comes to my education because without it, there is no foundation. I excel in history in which I scored a 88 on the US History Regents in 8th grade and a 89 on the Global History Regents in 9th grade. I also do well in English and French but am not particularly the strongest Math or Science student. I have many more strides to go in school and I have no intentions on slowing down. I am a friendly, hardworking, and devoted person. I will push others to see them do their best. I’m willing to help out anyone and do what is asked of me. I love to joke around and laugh, but when it’s time to work I’m all ears for my coaches and my teachers. Discipline is the first step to success.
