I have been told on numerous occasions that I have potential in making it to the Olympics and I have a tenacious personality. My goal in life is to become a hard working athlete and to succeed. Throughout my entire life I have always been dedicated to track and field. I am conscientious, hardworking and always willing to do anything as long as I reach my goal. Due to all of my hard work I have received awards from USATF and AAU during my freshman year. I was the first freshman to ever receive the most valuable person award and was promoted to varsity track. Every summer after the season is over I train to make excellent progress so I can get better results in the upcoming year. In my sophomore year the following were accomplished I received my varsity letters and the All CHSAA award.
I have competed in the junior Olympics for the last 3 years and qualified to run in the finals last summer. I’ve improved in my running so much. I have been running track ever since I was seven, and running in AAU and USATF for 6 years now. This year, as my focus changes towards my collegiate goals, I would use that time off to recover and rest. This summer I plan to train in the gym daily and compete in a few USATF or AAU local meets. I plan to play varsity football for my school this year to work on my speed. Other than sports I am a person whom of which enjoys learning and furthering my knowledge in every aspect. I am quite excited for this upcoming junior year, my goals are: to go to states, drop my time in all my events, and earn more medals and awards. I am extremely dedicate and plan to work harder to reach all my goals in track and field this year.
