Running a 50 second 400m in division I athletics seems kind of high as a time. But seeing as how I joined my track team only this year late in the season and winning all my races i believe that track is the right sport for me. Being a 3 sport athlete along with basketball and football I know what it means to push yourself not only on the field but in school as well. I believe with proper training and a good coach I could run sub 50 and do very well in college for track. Competition is what I love and in football and basketball there is competition but when you're running it feels as if it is all up to you and that's the feeling I strive for, and this is why I love track and would love to run in college.
