Boys 1600m Feb 8t...Personal Statement
My collegiate goals include enrolling in a good physical therapy program to kickstart my future. In doing so, I would also like to be a serious track athlete. Track has been my passion since I was 7 years old, and each year I work extremely hard to get better and better. I listen to all of my coaches, and I'm extremely coachable. My perseverance and work ethic is like no other: I get up at 5:00 AM to get in runs and lifts and I treat every workout/run like it's the last.
Over the years my times have dropped because of my work ethic and they will continue to do so. In addition to being a track athlete, I work diligently in school as well. I maintain 4.0 GPA and a 98+ average in a scholars program. I am also a member of the National Honor Society, LaSallian Youth, and my school's student council program.
I've found that dedication to early runs, diligent study and active school participation have led me to success and strongly believe I would bring these qualities to any college program.
