Personal Statement
Hello I am Jimmy Fox! I am excited to say that I broke my school's 300 meter record this winter season with a time of 36.41. I have been running track since I was 8 years old. I run the 200, 300, 400, 600 and 800. As you can see, I'm very versatile. I started out as a sprinter and have progressed to the longer distances and have settled in as a long sprinter. I take Track very seriously. I have participated in all seasons of track. In the summer I continue to train with my father who is a strength and conditioning trainer and a sprint coach. We weight lift and continue to improve my running ability and strength. This has given me the discipline and work ethic to be able to do whatever you will need from me at the college level. I enjoy the people I run and train with. I am the captain of the track team. I would think I would be a great asset to your team and I will run my best. I am a good student. I can keep up with everything put in front of me. What makes me different from the rest is the dedication I have and knowledge about all areas of running track thanks to the help of my coaches and father. My goals for college are to help my team win a Conference Championship and allow us to get to the NCAA Championship. I think my choice of study will be along the lines of Sports and Fitness Management/Business Management. I would love a chance to come compete at a great school! Looking forward to meeting you!
