Personal Statement
I started running cross country the summer after my 8th grade year. It started out as something i was conditioning for to play basketball in high school. It then turned out to be something i loved doing and i ended up breaking the school freshman record twice with 18:59 and holding the 3200 school record with 11:15. I want to run at the collegiate level and i know i will have to continue to work hard to get there and focus on my academics as well.
