Personal Statement
I have been engaged in sports my whole life and have always been active. I first joined Track & Field when I was 13 years old as a 7th grader focusing mainly on distance events such as the mile and 800m run. Coming up to my freshman year in high school I switched over to the sprinting and jumping aspect of track. Ever since then I have participated in the 100m, 200m, sprint relays, and high jump. Making it to state 3 years in a row for high jump and 2 years for relays while achieving goals of placing in the 4x100m relay. Throughout my high school years I've been a remarkable student athlete. Always getting assignments turned in and maintaining a 3.7-4.0 GPA consistently. Along with my academic success I have also played 3 sports every school year. I'm a hard working individual who always has goals to succeed in life, academics, and sports. Ever since I started Track & Field I always had a goal of possibly competing at the collegiate level and going to college for something I love to do.
