My full name is Alexious Huggin-Yap Sherman and I am from Canal Winchester, Ohio. I am a 2014 graduate at Bloom-Carroll High School. I have been apart of the varsity track and field team since my freshman year and I mainly run the 110m hurdles, the 300m hurdles, the 200m dash, the 4x200m relay, and the 4x400m relay. My freshman year, I qualified for regionals in the 300m hurdles. My sophomore year, I earned honorable mention in the 300m hurdles in my conference. I also was district runner-up in the 300m hurdles. I qualified for regionals in both the 110m hurdles and 300m hurdles, and qualified for states in the 300m hurdles. My Junior, I earned first team all coference in both the 110m and 300m hurdles and honorable mention in the 200m dash. I was district champion in both the 110m and 300m hurdles, and state placer in the 110m hurdles.
I carry a 3.02 GPA but i am working hard to increase it. I am undecided on a major at this time but I plan to major in something in the field of engineering.
I also play Football and Wrestle. My sophomore year I was on the varsity team for football. I have been on the varsity wrestling team since freshman year and also was sectional runner-up and qualified for districts my sophomore year.
I hope to run track in college at a division 1 or 2 level in the NCAA, but I am undecided on a school I want to go too. My dreams are to become successful, not only in school and track, but also in life.
