First of all, thank you for taking the time out of your day to view my profile. My name is Jonathon Desiderio. I played lacrosse my freshman and sophomore year until I decided to run track my junior year. Right when the season rolled around, I fell in love with the sport. My junior year I competed at the varsity level on my team. I was the fastest 110 hurdler at my school during this season, as well as the best long jumper. My official best jump is a 19"9, however I jumped in the 20 foot region many times during practice. My stats this year were based solely off my athletic abilities, considering I had no training or experience in track and field prior.
Since this was my very first year running track, I see much room for improvement for my events my senior year. I have set many goals for myself. My senior year of track I would like to be able to jump in the 21 feet area consistently, and I would like to run a 14.80 for 110 hurdles. During the offseason I will have a personal trainer and I am training with cross country to help me achieve here goals. I am excited to see where this sport takes me in the future!
