Personal Statement
At an early age I started running in road races with my Grandpa. I realized there was something about running that I couldn’t explain. I always wanted more and strived to do better each time. When I started to compete in XC and Track it fueled me to be the best version of myself personally, academically, and athletically. Looking back it has helped mold me into the person I am today. I currently have a 3.9 GPA, am in National Honor Society, and am the Vice President of my class. This past spring I competed in the 1600m and 3200m. Running personal bests of 4:38 and 10:02. I was the conference champion in both events and district champion in the 3200m.
My parents have always encouraged me to chase my dreams and not let fear get in the way of success, but use it as a building block to get there. I am looking for a school that will challenge me academically and athletically to continue the pursuit of becoming the best version of myself.
