Colin Martens '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Colin Martens and I’m a distance runner in the class of 2024. I run the 1600 and 3200 in track and also run cross country. I first found running in 7th grade and fell in love right away. A way I stand out from others is I like hard work and understand how much is needed to succeed if you want to be good at higher levels. I plan to take the work ethic I have and paired with college coaching and their resources I will only grow from what I am now. I also understand there is more coaches look at than just running. I am in honors, ap, and cap level courses. I carry my work ethic into the classroom as well, and want to succeed no matter how hard I need to work. I strongly believe I can be a great asset to your team and would love the opportunity to run for you.
