"Be humble, be hungry, and always be the hardest worker in the room." This is a quote that I take much interest in. I understand that there are other runners who are more naturally and genetically gifted than myself. But it is my goal, whether in the classroom, where I have a 4.3 GPA, or on the track, to never be outworked. I want to not only be remembered as the guy who could run fast, but also the one who worked his tail off to cut every millisecond off of his times.
