What drives me athletically is I want to be the best version of me I can possibly be whether that's being the best or not. I want to be able to look back on my track career and think to myself I did everything I possibly could go get to where I could and I'm happy with that. When it's all said and done I don't want to look back and have regrets like "if I would have just trained harder or pushed more." I know thats worse then giving it your all and failing because there is always that what if in your head. I want to prove all the doubters wrong. All the people who said I couldn't. If anything ever gets tough I just think about how I was told by many people that I would never be good enough and there was no point so I should just stop. Those people fuel me and keep me going.
What pushes me academically is that I want to be able to have a good future. Without having good academics I won't have a good future. I want to be a Phys Ed teacher when I grow up and i know if I don't put in the work, study and do my work with my best effort then I won't be able to have that.
