In grade 10 I realized that I wanted to pursue a future in track and field. I had not tried very hard but this motivated me to strive for better marks in school and to take my athletics more seriously. I have worked very hard to improve my grades and have seen substantial improvements. I am always eager to learn new sports and skills like pole vaulting or spinning in shot put. Although I am not the tallest athlete I am very proud that I can jump over my height and easily hurdle 39" hurdles.
Throughout high school I took multiple design courses that sparked my interest in following a career in architecture, although I am also interested in automotive technology.
I feel I am a natural leader. On all my sports teams I have been named Captain. My football, soccer, and track and field coaches have all asked me to lead warm ups, drills, and sometimes help coach.
