Currently my main goal in high school is to break my school's Javelin record which is 196 ft and 5 in, I plan on breaking that record this year which is my junior year. Breaking the record should easy enough as long as I keep improving as much as I did last year, I would love to add another 30+ ft to my PR like I did last year.
What makes me a great candidate for your team is that I am very committed to anything I put my mind to, and I've only been in track a year and I have already became one of my school's best boys Javelin thrower currently.
What makes me different in character than other recruits is that I put everyone ahead of myself without any hesitation even if I don't know them I will still sacrifice myself for them in any situation.
In my athletics something that makes me different is that I learn very quickly and retain that knowledge, I am also really competitive and once I've gained something that will benefit me I make sure to use it so I always get the full use out of my resources. I'm not your average Javelin thrower, I'm 5-10 240 lb, it's really hard and not really heard of for someone my size to succeed in something meant for someone half my size that is another thing that I think separates me from other recruits.
Finally what sets me apart academically, I'm an average student I get A's, B's and occasionally C's but I always try to improve myself in any way I can on and off the field I always try to improve anything I have trouble in. This is why I think I am the best candidate for your team.
