As a freshman in high school I am still determining what I want to concentrate on in college. I know without a doubt that I will attend college - my major, at this time, is undecided but I do have some ideas in mind. I am the youngest of 3 boys and we are the most 3 unique brothers a family could have. I have watched my oldest brother compete and win in Cheerleading at an All Star level against international teams. I have watched my middle brother succeed in college and start to fulfill his dreams in Sports Management. Their driven lifestyles and focus have taught me quite a bit, as well as the support that my mother gives me in all that I do. I am a firm believer in TEAM support - I may not always be the best on field, track or court, but I am a strong team supporter. I will never do less then my best to support the efforts of our team and their success. I am focused in school and believe that academic excellence is a requirement for me to be successful in the future. I an a vocal supporter to my teammates in every sport I participate in. This year is my first year in Track and Field and I have found that the sideline support is key to the success of myself as well as my teammates. I believe in the strength of a TEAM and the ability to work together under any given circumstances. My strongest assets are my loyalty to my teammates - the support I offer to those around me - and my ability to learn, adapt and remain focused on a goal - both academically as well as athletically.
At the Sophomore year of my high school career, my overall personal statement has not changed. I am interested in Astronomy and Physics as a potential college major but additional research is needed to be 100% sure.
My Junior year clarified my college choices - I will be attending college for Aerospace Engineering. I have already toured local colleges and are starting to weigh my options for where I will pursue my interests. I hope to be able to participate in the track and field team at whatever college I attend to ensure that my college experience is well balanced between academics and education.
