Cross Country 202...Personal Statement
I am a senior and I am a distance runner. I play two other sports, but running is my main focus. This year I am focusing on the 1600, but I also run cross-country. This season I pushed myself every day and was able to improve my 5k time from 17:59 to 16:12 in one year.
I am an A and B student in school and am taking three AP classes this year. Also, one during my sophomore year. The majority of my other classes are honors classes. I am outgoing and very self-motivated. If I want something I make sure it happens. I am a Boy Scout, and I am close to becoming an Eagle Scout.
Running in college has been a goal of mine since I was a freshman in high school. I want to go to a competitive college, so I can be pushed to be my best. I also want an academically challenging school so I can pursue becoming a dentist.
