Berry (Branch) Cox '20 Recruiting Profile

     My goals collegiately include earning valuable college degrees while contributing much to my teams in XC/Track.  I have only tapped the surface as a runner as I continue to improve each season while also staying free of injuries.  Team titles and All American are within our reach! 

     What separates me from other recruits is that I'm a very self driven, motivated person who humbly goes above and beyond expectations to contribute exponentially to my community.  Academically, athletically, spiritually, and professionally, I challenge myself and take full advantage of service opportunities.  Throughout high school, I have initiated and lead summer/off season practices.  Some of my accomplishments include the following:  Team Captain/MVP 3x’s, MVP of FCA (Integrity/Teamwork/Service/Excellence), Texas All-State Academic Teams while qualifying for Regionals in Track and State in XC.  I have been selected as a Superintendent’s Scholar, an AP Scholar, into the Superintendent’s Ambassador's  Leadership Program, into the NHS, and as a Texas Boys State Representative (voted into the House of Representatives).  Additionally, I attended the U.S. Naval Academy’s Summer Seminar.        

     Given the once in a lifetime privilege to continue my education and journey as a scholar-athlete at a top  university would immensely bless my bright future of much service.  With determination, I look forward to inspiring my 4 younger siblings to continue readily seeing the benefits of persevering and working towards achieving their fullest potentials for a lifetime of purpose.
