Wyatt Payton '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Wyatt Payton and I am a senior  at Brock High School in Brock, TX. 

I am a multi-sport athlete and have competed for my high school in Track, Cross Country, Baseball and Football. My goal is to run track at the college level, and to be part of a team where I can make an impact and help my team be the best we can be. Due to my dedication, hard work, and passion for track. I would bring a strong work ethic and determination to succeed. I have a willingness to learn and improve in all aspects of life. My positive attitude, team spirit and ability to work well with other would make me a valuable asset to any team. 

My best event is the 400M, but in the past couple of years I have been asked to run the anchor leg in our 4x400M team as well as the 200M. I have run every event in track under the 1600M and feel like I am an asset in relay teams as well as in open sprints. I am constantly running 35 second 300M in practice. So far this 2024 outdoor season I have achieved times in the 200M of 22.6, and 400M of 51.2. Feel free to contact me anytime Monday - Friday after 630 PM or anytime on the weekends.
