As a committed academic student, I have consistently achieved high marks in various activities both inside and outside of school. Growing up in Chicago and having the opportunity to compete in international events such as the 2019 World Championship Taekwondo in South Korea and the Decathlon at the 2023 USATF Junior Olympics has allowed me to develop a strong sense of drive and leadership skills as the oldest of four brothers. My focus on details and understanding of my weaknesses has made me a responsible student. With over six years of experience in track and field since middle school, along with basketball and taekwondo training, I am physically fit and dedicated to my passions. As a member of the California League Black Belt Club, I have demonstrated my ability to excel by passing a verbal Korean language and cultural test, receiving recommendations from teachers, parents, and instructors. My major accomplishments include being an outstanding academic student on track to obtain a high school business endorsement diploma, becoming a TAPPS 5A District Champion and earning a purple belt in taekwondo, as well as placing second at the 2019 Jeonju Open International Taekwondo Championship in South Korea and first at the 2019 California Hanmadang. Additionally, I have received the Future Black Belt Award in 2018 and am a member of the AAU Basketball League. I also regularly participate in volunteer activities such as Comcast Cares Day and the Houston Food Bank.
