Personal Statement
Some goals and aspirations I have for college is to receive my bachelors degree or masters degree, as well as completing my years in college with a 3.0 GPA or higher. As for athletic goals, I want to become an NCAA champion as an individual in track and also with my teammates in cross country. Throughout college, I plan to drop my 1600m time below 4 minutes, my 3200m below 8:40, and my cross country 5k time below 14 minutes. I will achieve all of these times through my hard work and dedication. I have been a hard worker all of my life. When I first started running at a young age I wasn't the fastest amongst my competitors. Through my hard work ethic, I was able to work my way up in rank and even became one of the top 5 in my class in the state in cross country my freshman year. I am also a very respectful person and will never be seen disrespecting my coaches, teammates, or my competitors. All of these are reasons of what makes me a great candidate for any team and separates me from other recruits.
