Personal Statement
I goals is to go to college and become a coach/history teacher. I want to be able to coach kids in track and cross country and share my passion for the sport with them. I want to be able to share the love and encouragement that I have received from my coaches and teachers with children. I have always loved the sport of track especially running hurdles. I started running hurdles in 7th grade after my cousin was tragically killed in a fire works accident 7 years ago. He was a big inspiration to me, he always encouraged me to follow my dreams. He always ran the hurdles and made it look so effortless and that is why I started running to honor his memory.
I was diagnosed with Tourette's when I was in the third grade. I have ADHD and was also diagnosed with Dysgraphia in 9th grade. Throughout my journey in school my family has been my biggest supporters especially my mom. She has always pushed me to do my best and has always made sure that I do the same amount of work as every one else in class. She has never let me take the easy road out and because of her support and pushing me I will be graduating as an honor student and as a member of the National Honor Society.
