My name is Alonzo Pollum. I am born and raised in Fort Worth Texas. I will be a senior this fall, a 2014 graduating class. I started running in 7th grade to keep in shape for hockey, I have been playing hockey since I was 8 years old as a goalie, not knowing that I am going to excel in running and that running will become my passion and strenght. I am fortunate enough to have a great coach and running team mates at Timber Creek to help me get stronger as a runner. I am hoping to break my personal record in cross country and track during my senior year, through hard work, perseverance and motivation. I have been a varsity runner since my freshman year in track and cross country. I am also hoping to qualify for state in both cross country and track during my senior year. I love to compete and work hard in my running. I am so very thankful for a supportive family and for God, who has given me a talent in running.
I have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. I also have good classroom habits. I have a 3.94 GPA and a member of the National Honor Society. Grades is one of my high priority. I am wiling to attend any college that will give me a great running experience/training and a great college education.
