Personal Statement
Hello Coaches,
My name is Damarien Jacobs, class of 2024. My collegiate goals are to first establish a relationship with a university that is rich in tradition and incorporates inclusion. Through that process I hope to identify a major and minor that is in alignment with my strengths and passions.
I am a great candidate for any team because I am self-motivated and competitive. I am coachable and determined to continually improve.
My character is different from other recruits because I have gone through things in my life and understand the impact of overcoming. I am familiar with the feelings of perseverance and that feeling can be quite habit-forming. I know from my parents and mentors that nothing is more important than my education and how I carry myself as an human being. With my education I can use it to take me farther than any athletic accomplishment.
