Bryan Cruz '27 Recruiting Profile

Running is my passion. I’ve been at it for a long time and love the adrenaline of competing and pushing myself. I’m super pumped about the chance to run in college. I’m that kid who’s always trying to get better and win. The energy of competition fuels me, and I think I’d really thrive on a team.

I’m pretty tough mentally and know I can handle anything. I’m stoked to be part of a team and work together to crush it. I love being around other runners who push me to be my best. I know that if I’m surrounded by fast guys, it’ll make me faster too. And I’ll always be there to help my teammates improve. Something that makes me different is that I’ve mostly trained by myself, so I had to figure out how to push myself when there was no one else around. I think that’s made me really tough mentally. I’m ready to be part of a team and work together to win.
