Personal Statement
When I was growing up, admiring LeBron James do his things on the court of basketball is something I started enjoying as a child. My father, though never played professional basketball at any time in his life, was a loyal supporter of Cleveland Cavaliers. However, he could trade his loyalty to the incredible and most talented LeBron James. Watching basketball together with my father was a fantastic experience, which I can account for the development of my interest in the court. He knew all the rules of the game, and soon I got to understand why people admired LeBron James; not just for his sterling swift moves but the exemplary performance both in defense and attack. At seven years, I made my first basketball score in the Military gym basketball court in Fort Jackson, South Carolina; the feeling was incredible and intriguing. A remembrance of the score motivated to me more, and soon I started scoring more often.
At my tender age in the game, I had to put more effort to develop my style of play with my teammates. Years passed, at one point in high school I was promoted to the Freshmen team. My dedication, determination and prolific performance in the court earned me the promotion. I was a frequent starter as a power forward and Center in a team that I was the youngest.
Basketball has taught me a lot, determination, increase my Position IQ, focus, Know Your Role, Study the Game, give 100 and 10 Percent Effort, train my body and most importantly improve my skills every day. My future goal is to play in the college basketball team and finally make it to the NBA alongside top-rated professionals players. In addition to that, earn a fully sponsored scholarship to further education in my field of engineering.
