For as long as I can remember my favorite sports activity has been running. I can still remember running around my neighborhood when I was in my early elementary school years. Over time, my love for running has only increase, and I quickly determined that I wanted to run in college. I recognize that it will take continuous work and effort, and I know that I have the strength and the fortitude to succeed.
I have both endurance and speed, both of which have helped me immensely in competitive racing. At the same time, I also do my best to set a good example for my team, whether it be competing in a race or in regular day to day interactions. I am also very good with being coached, and I make a conscious effort to apply the advice of my coaches in my running. I always strive to do the absolute best that I can in everything.
Aside from my running and competing, I also take my education very seriously. I have a 4.88 GPA on a 5 point scale, and I make sure to always be engaged in the subject matter of the the class while also being able to apply it in other settings or situations. I also take an active role in my community through service hours. I want to go to a college with both rigorous academics and rigorous athletics. I want to challenge myself to be better than I am now in academics and athletics.
