Tristyn Wooley '20 Recruiting Profile

I'm a very hard worker, I stay out of trouble and my main focus is my education. I'm a competitor/athlete and always do my best at all times. I'm very coachable and respectful and have learned "to be the best, you have to respect and learn from best."I made varsity as a freshman and placed 1st in district and area in the 200 meter, 4x200,and 4x 100. I also made it to state in the 4x100 as a freshman and holds the school record. This year 2018 as a sophomore I placed 1st in all 3 of my events at district, area, and placed 2nd in two of my events ( open 200m  and 4x 200m relay)  at regionals which I qualified for state in both events. I started running track at age 8 and made it to nationals every year in the 100m,200m, and 4x100 relay. The highest I placed in nationals was 2nd overall in the 200 meter and 5th in the 100m. It took me hard work to place that high and I finally made it to the finals from all the hard work . As you can see I'm very dedicated. Track use to be secondary sport to me until I realize I was the fastest kid in my age group in San Antonio,Texas which gave me the extra motivation to become even faster. I excelled in this sport and now beating athletes from the top 6A schools in the state of Texas as freshman. I'm a military child who got to experience different types of leadership roles that I include in my talents . If you want the best I sure will we be a top choice to give you what your team needs. 2020 is my senior year and I'm ready to run at college level . I'm not a kid who has to run at a big known school because no matter where I compete I'm going to make sure I am remembered.
