Michael Daniel '20 Recruiting Profile

First, I would like to say thank you for taking the time to view my profile and I very much look forward to communicating with you in the future. I am currently 17 years of age and I live in the city of San Antonio Texas. I am what you would call a military brat because I have traveled all over the world with my father who served 21 years in the military. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister, and I think that being a military brat has been very beneficial for me because it has allowed me to adapt to my surroundings and force me to meet new people sometimes in the middle of the school year. I am very proud of my father for his service in the military and I am grateful to my mother for taking care of our family during his seven deployments.

As far back as I could remember I have loved running its all I ever saw myself doing in athletics in high school and in college. I pride myself on my work ethic and my willingness to learn, I believe that I can always be better and that there is always room for improvement. I have worked extremely hard to become the best runner in my school and with hardwork and dedication I have done so. I currently have the Harlan Highschool records for the 1 mile 2 mile in track and all the fastest times for cross country from 2 to 3.5 miles. My current goals this year are to compete in state in cross country and track and my long-term goals are to run in college for both track and cross country.

I truly believe that I can be an asset to any team that I am on and I pray that you see fit to give me the opportunity to prove it to you. Once again, I would like to say thank you for viewing my profile and I look forward to communicating with you soon.
