My name is Reuben Dotson and at 9 years old, I set a new 800m record, in the State of Texas at the USATF Junior Olympics. I was ranked #1 in the nation, as well as, being nationally ranked in the top 20 in the 400m event. After falling in love with the sport, I gave up football to focus on track & field. I've been successful every season qualifying for Districts until my sophomore season in high school. I grew 9 to 10 inches as a sophomore so I suffered from growth knee pains.
When I returned my Junior year, I finished the season running 49.27 in the 400m and 1:58 in the 800m.
My workout regimes are extremely tough, I'm up at 4:30 am for strength and conditioning training.
My overall goal is to have a monstrous 2020 senior Indoor and Outdoor season, as well as, set new school records in the 400m and 800m.
I would love to attend a school who appreciate and notice all of my hard work and efforts on and off the track! Someone and Somewhere I can pledge my everlasting loyalty to the classroom and program! Someone and Somewhere who see my commitment in everything I do and utilize my skillsets for team accomplishments while helping me to become a better student-athlete, person and man!
I am ready to be the next All American student-athlete and captain. I am ready to take on the challenges of the next level of competition, become a positive role model for the program and exceed all of your expectations.
Thanks in advance for reviewing my profile and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
