Austin Carter '19 Recruiting Profile

I envision my time in college to be an important period for personal growth.  This is invaluable as I aspire to be a history teacher and cross country coach.  Its important I continue to grow into a well-rounded leader for future students/athletes in order to guide them down the path of success.  Throughout high school I experienced struggles but persevered with continued support by teachers and coaches.  Its now my personal goal to do the same for others.  As a multi-sport athlete, I've found there to be no greater sense of accomplishment than to guide fellow teammates down the path of becoming better athletes and leaders.  I strive to be an asset to my future cross country/track team and will conduct myself with respect on and off the running trail.  I understand my actions are a reflection of not only myself but my family, team, coaches and school.
