Braxton Craven '24 Recruiting Profile

Hey there coaches and runners! My name is Braxton Craven and I am a high school middle middle distance runner. I mainly run the 800 and 1600 but occasionally i'll throw in a 400 for kicks and giggles. I have been running since 7th grade and have always want to run at the collegiate level since I started. I never had the intention of just gliding through high school sports then moving on with life, because running is my life and I want to compete as long as I can.

Believe it or not I started as a long jumper and sprinter in middle school because thats what all the cool kids did. But then I realized I wasn't very cool so I put my scrawny little legs on the starting line of a middle school coed 800 meter starting line. I ended up wining the race with a 2:17 and I was pretty stoked about that, so I just kept running the 800, and here I am today.

As my senior years end comes into sight I have never been so excited scared nervous and frankly a little hungry in my life. I really hope anyone who sees this can see that I have the drive and the commitment to run on your team. I am an excellent student and I promise I wont be any problem on the team and will only strive to lift others up around me. Thank you for your consideration and I hope to get in touch soon!
