Personal Statement
My goal has been to run collegiately ever since I started running track in 7th grade. I am very grateful for all the opportunities I've had to run club track into high school track, including cross country since my sophomore year. I want to give back to all of the people who have helped me throughout my life, in which my family as played a big role. So I help out around the house whenever I an and I also do lots of community service to give back to my community. This has engraved a very hard work ethic into me. I work very hard at practice because I know that's where champions are made. More importantly, I work hard in the class room keeping and maintaining a 4.0 GPA, also challenging myself by taking honors and AP courses. I lead by example at practice and have learned to work great as a team throughout my years of cross country and track. I'm a great listener and a very honorable person, I'll do what it takes to win as long as it doesn't involve cheating. I love competition and am greatly looking forward to competing on a collegiate level.
