Personal Statement
My name is Patrick McCray. I am excited to find a college or university where I fit in and can call home. My family is important to me and has shaped who I am today. I would like to attend a college or university that will enhance my character, develop me as an athlete, and challenge me in the classroom. I became familiar with track and field when friends of mine were going to be participating in the sport. I quickly became interested in the sport. I am always training and looking for ways to get better at the sport. I learned when running track that I would like to make it my priority sport. I would say I am diligent, focused, and persistent at the sport and I am improving. I feel that I would be a good asset to the team due to these characteristics.
