2017 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My goal for college is to run track and cross-country at a high level and get a quality education while I do it. I began running as a sophomore, and I wish every day that I joined our team sooner. After a fantastic first year, I fully committed myself and achieved goals that I set for XC and track finishing 15th in Washington State 3A XC and 4th in Washington State 3A 800m. I became a captain during junior year and hope to lead our team to a first place finish at the Wa State XC meet as a senior. My ever-growing love and appreciation of running drives me to constantly improve and I want to continue that drive through college.
