Personal Statement
I have been playing football since I was 8 years old. Every time I step on the field I have aspired to play football at the collegiate level. I take being a student athlete very serious, by being a student first and a athlete second. knowing if I don't get the grades in the classroom I won't be on the field. I am currently taking AP classes and plan on taking more through out high school. I enjoy engineering and leadership classes at this time and would like to continue with that type of schooling. This past season I was awarded freshman player of the year and freshman offensive player of the year. I love to make my teammates around me better by pushing them to be the best they can be from the weight room to the field. My strongest character traits is being a leader on my team. I am a team player through helping the team in any way by playing any position I'm needed in, encouraging my teammates even when they are not having a good game or practice and always keeping a good attitude. The leadership qualities I posses are helping others, building teamwork with my teammates, and taking control of situations. I work hard at everything when I step on the field. I work evenly as hard in the weight room as I do on the field and in the classroom.
