Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Barrett and I am very passionate about running. I have developed great leadership skills as I have been a captain for the last 2 cross country seasons and 1 season of track. I have run 2:01.09 for 800, 4:34 for the Mile (4:32 1600m conversion), and a 9:23 3000 during my 2023 indoor season along with a 15:54 5k during my 2022 XC season. I  unfortunately picked up a stress reaction injury that kept me out for the majority of the outdoor season. I have a 3.97 GPA and am very disciplined in the classroom.
