I am a junior at Cedarburg High School and I get very good grades. I have a 4.05 GPA in the quarter and I am in 1 AP classes and several honors classes. I am an extremely hard worker and I set goals for myself and I achieve them. I have played soccer my whole life, but my junior year I decided to join cross country! In my first 5K ever I ran a very respectable 16:19. I finished 32nd in the state meet this year and next year I am the 10th best returner. I only ran about 45 miles per week last summer, but this summer I will be running up to 75 miles per week. All that work will hopefully translate into a 4:10-15 next year and a top 3 finish at State for XC. I hope that I will be able to find a college in the midwest or out east, but I am open to other colleges across the country. I am looking for a bigger school and i hope i will be able to compete at a D1 level but I would love to play or run for a very good D2 school. I plan to go into pre-law or political science. I hope you will consider me when looking for new recruits.
Thanks,
Josh Short
