First and foremost, I want to excel in the academic program I choose to pursue. I have a strong interest in Atmospheric Sciences along with an interest in Architecture. I have a winning spirit and strive to do well in everything I pursue.
I've had an extremely successful 2014 Track season. I am currently involved in the Madison Thrower's club to continue to improve my throws at Discus, which is my most successful Track and Field event, and Shot Put, which I have also had success with. I strive to become a top athlete for a college with a credible Track and Field Team. Throwing Discus is my passion in Track and Field but I also really want to become great at throwing the Hammer/Weight throw.
In the recent outdoor season of 2014, I set a new personal record with a throw of 162'2" at the Madison Memorial Sectional, taking first in the competition and placing me fourth overall in the Division 1 state competition for the discus. In Spring of 2014, I won nearly every meet in the discus competition, placing me high on the honor roll for the discus throw in Wisconsin.
After my senior year of high school I have 2 varsity letters in football, and 3 varsity letters in Track &Field. I also was awarded the most dedicated award from my high school coach.
My 2012 Discus PR: 136'7"
My 2013 Discus PR: 141'3"
My 2013 Summer Discus PR: 146'5"
My 2014 Discus PR: 162'2"
(All of those PR's are marked in meets)
In working with the Madison Throws Club, my discus form has improved to the point where I have been throwing in the 160' region. I have also improved my forms and distances for the shot put.
I would like to go to school where they offer a major in Atmospheric Sciences, and possibly meteorology and architecture.
