My collegiate goals have a wide variety in focus. Firstly, I enjoy creating a positive atmosphere for my peers and teammates. I also enjoy creating an intense mindset in everyone in my atmosphere during a workout, whether it’s on the track or in the weight room.
My primary collegiate goal as an athlete is to push myself to my very limit while representing a college. Something unique about my character is that I have a strict goal-oriented mindset and will go through countless obstacles to achieve what I am going after.
Throughout the course of my track and field progress, I have gone through countless time constraints and days filled with horrible weather to continue pursuing my goals. Whether the sun is up or down does not interfere with the decision to practice that day.
Athletically, I am very open to hearing advice and use it as accurately as I can. When I receive advice, I find it to be a resource that is very much worth my time to listen to and plug into my running style. As an athlete, I consider myself to be open to new views and ideas.
I like to enlighten the atmosphere and push my teammates to the limit, alongside helping others, I keep that mindset true to myself. By keeping the mindset I give others, I keep the team in straightened out and ready to win.
