Personal Statement

I have been running since I was in 6th grade. I played football 9th-11th grades and ran track 6th-present. Going into my Junior year my family and I decided to move from Rapid City, SD to Cheyenne, Wy. My new school, Cheyenne East HS, offers Indoor track in the winter so I decided that I would run. I decided going into the Indoor Track season (January) of my Junior year that I would run Cross Country, Indoor/Outdoor Track during my Senior year. I've always had my mind set on playing sports at the collegiate level. I decided during the winter of my Junior year that I would like to run collegiate level Cross Country and Track. I did a lot of running over the summer and made significant progress. I like learning and doing school work just as much as I like to run. I would love to compete in running sports at the collegiate level.
