Since my first exposure to volleyball in 7th grade, my passion for the sport has increased without bound. Playing in club and the varsity level has truly exposed myself for who I am and what my purpose is on the court. Volleyball has truly taught me trust and most important of all, discipline. Each and every day I face the issue of school work and other extracurricular activities I participate in that may conflict with my volleyball schedule, but I utilize efficient time management skills to allow myself to participate fully in all events.
My commitment and passion for volleyball is like none other; it exists beyond anything I have ever experienced and cannot be explained with words, only on the court. Throughout my career, I have been exposed to every position and understand the roles of my teammates as well as my own. My team is not only consisted of the 6 players on the court, it includes the bench and most importantly my coaches that work to help me improve my play.
I am seeking to attend a school that is not only a good fit for me athletically, but also academically and socially. I believe I possess the skills to belong on a college level team, but also the commitment, positivity, and discipline of a college athlete. I know I can become an impactful leader and positive influence on the team!
