Personal Statement

I want to challenge myself in every aspect of life to become the best version of myself academically, socially and athletically. My primary goal in college is to graduate with a degree in Graphic Design while competing in the sport I love.

I am looking to be a part of something special on campus and the court. The college or university I choose will impact my teammates and myself for the rest of our lives. The most influential thing in my life has been my family. Each member of my family has graduated from college and competed in the NCAA. I plan to continue to challenge myself as each of them have done. Growing up I played many different sports. What I love about volleyball is the fast pace of the game, the athleticism it takes to compete and the team aspect of the sport.

The biggest thing I have learned from the sport is that it is far easier to accomplish things together than alone. I love being part of a team working towards specific goals. The second thing would be that you cannot dwell on mistakes, we must learn from them and move on.

My biggest attribute would be that I am coachable and want to learn. I am overly critical in my self-evaluation. My ability to apply technical adjustments to my game is what I continually strive to improve as I develop my volleyball skill set.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
