2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
Volleyball continues to be a growing passion for me. My overall goal is to play as long as I can, and go as far as my hard work and talent will allow. I enjoy new challenges, as it gives me a chance to grow and learn more.
I'm looking for a team that is ready to work and grow too, a coach that fosters a positive team environment, and teammates that have the same mentality for continuous improvement. On the court I like to keep the energy high; it keeps everyone up, working together and having fun!
I put the same efforts into the classroom, and understand that being a collegiate athlete includes preparing for my future just as much as enjoy the present. That's why I am also looking for a school that provides a solid academic program in Business/Finance/Accounting, and career planning.
There is a Latin proverb I heard recently and can't get over, "Fortune favors the brave." It is also translated to "Fortune favors the bold," and "Fortune favors the strong." I think these three interpretations represent me as a whole.
