I have been playing volleyball for around two years now. I instantly fell in love with the sport. Every aspect of volleyball continues to amaze me. There's never been a time I've been "too tired" or "not up" to play volleyball. My passion keeps growing stronger every day. Which is why a main goal of mine is to play college volleyball. Volleyball has been my greatest passion for the past two years. I am constantly playing. I play beach, high school, and club volleyball. And when I'm not playing organized volleyball, I'm playing beach with my friends. I'm always up for any volleyball. I have been on the coached and coaching side of it. I have coached around two youth teams of volleyball at middle schools and parks. I have been coached by a former Cal State Long Beach libero (John-Michael O'brien). I am always working on my passing, hitting, and setting form. One thing I have learned that makes me continue to work as hard as I can is to work as hard as I do at one skill on all the others. I am always looking to perfect my volleyball ability. Given my height, I have strengthened my mental game in order to outplay my opponents. I am more than able to put a hard swing down or at a deep angle. And when the block is strong I take a look across the net and use my mental strengths to create stress and out of system plays for the other team. Along with my skill, I am a great team player and easily work well with others. On every team, I have played for my teammates have become my family. I love playing outside or oppostie, and even DS. I am a flexible player. My one desire is to play. As long as I can play the game nothing's a problem for me. I do whatever it takes to win a match and keep my teammates and coach happy. My work ethic is always increasing and at times can be overwhelming on myself. I constantly put in more work than my competition. I focus on my own game and try my best to keep my own and not compare myself to others, in order to keep improving. College volleyball is the next step I want to take after high school volleyball.
