Personal Statement
My collegiate goal is to be at the best school and on the best team that best fits me. I am a dynamic leader on the court, and am known to be a great utility player as well. Therefore, I have varied from a starting setter, starting libero, and starting outside hitter during my club career. I have usually told the coach to put me where he/she needs. Going into my Senior year in High School, I will most likely focus on the libero position, and hope to play collegiate ball as either libero or setter but remain open to playing outside. I am a HARD WORKER on the court. I go for everything, all-out. Last summer I attended 5 college camps, back to back. When I'm off-season, I am a dedicated AAU and USA beach volleyball player, winning many tournaments every summer and recently took Silver at the AVP 1st National on center court in 2017. I will be competing in the USA HP A1 Beach National Championships in Manhattan Beach on July 31-August 1, 2018. Santa Barbara Coast finished 9th at Nationals this year despite missing many tournaments due to the fires and mudslides. I am proud of what we were able to accomplish for a small team of 9!
