Dedicated, determined, and defined are three words that I would personally use to describe myself. Throughout my life I have been a dedicated individual, always striving to reach my goals. I am always in pursuit of being the best I can. My resume speaks for itself. By the end of my high school career I will have completed ten AP courses. I have already completed four earning me the title of AP scholar with Honor. I will have been a three year four year basketball player, one year varsity player. I will have completed three years four years of volleyball, three years being a varsity starter. Along with these sports I have been playing club volleyball for three years now. I have been to the Junior Olympics for the past two years and am planning to attend the Junior Olympics in Reno, Nevada in 2013. I play outside hitter for my high school team. As for my club team I doing very well at middle hitter, which is the position I have accelerated in and feel is my most dominant. I have a very solid work ethic: I have two hours of practice every day, five days a week(high school basketball or volleyball depending on the season), two hours of club practice at least two days a week, an hour of jump training two days a week, and weightlifting and strength conditioning five days a week. This year alone I am taking six AP classes, being a starter at two high school varsity sports, playing competitive club volleyball, and holding the role, in the Future Business Leaders of America, of Manager of Public Relations. Not only am I active and determined in my athletic and scholastic life, but also religiously. I am a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Thousand Oaks, CA. I have been a part of the youth group there and have held the title of Historian and Treasurer within my youth group. Throughout my religious, scholastic, and athletic requirements I have developed the ability to still lead a healthy social life and maintain meaningful relationships. I hope and plan to attend a university where I can play volleyball at some of its highest competition and at the same time flourish academically.
